The Dallas Historical Society’s “Awards of Excellence in Community Service Luncheon” at the Fairmont on Thursday, November 1, was a history maker.
Dallas’ leading boldfacers joined in the festivities that provided historic moments of past and present ranging from Jubilee Awardee David Dunning’s tales of former Dallas residents Doc Holiday and Belle Starr to Sports Awardee Nancy Lieberman making history with a first.
