The Crystal Charity Ball former chairmen’s dinner is traditionally a catch-up even combining recent updates and memories of past balls.
But on Tuesday, May 21, at Turtle Creek Park’s Arlington Hall, the supper under the crystal chandeliers sponsored by Bank of America proved to be an eye-opener for the decades of leaders like Linda Beach (1998), Christie Carter, 2016) Tucker Enthoven (2020), Susan Farris (2022), Margo Goodwin (2004), Lyda Hill (1975), Angie Kadesky (2023), Caren Kline (2013), Sara Martineau (1993), Pat McEvoy (2019), Debbie Oates (2009), Connie O’Neill (2011), Pam Perella (2017), Michal Powell (2015), Aileen Pratt (1012), Debbie Snell (2006), Jill Smith (2005) and Barbara Stuart (1994), who had over the years raised literally millions of dollars for Dallas County children.
When 2024 CCB Chair Cheryl Joyner revealed the information, the guests looked amazed about the news of one of their predecessors.
