Starting Monday, the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas will have a new CEO with a very familiar face. Executive VP/COO Jennifer Bartkowski has been named to success Colleen Walker as CEO.
According to GSNTX Chair of the Board of Directors Millie Bradley, “Jennifer has been instrumental in elevating Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas into a high-capacity, high-performing council, and the timing is absolutely right for her to take the helm. We are extremely grateful to Colleen for her leadership and transformative work over the past seven years, developing a Girl Scout Council recognized for its strengths in preparing girls for leadership in the 21st century. And, as an added bonus, the Girl Scouts and the Perot Museum have enjoyed a longstanding partnership, which will continue to deepen and mature for both organizations.”
A graduate of Texas A&M University, where she also earned her Master of Public Administration, Jennifer had previously worked with the American Lung Association of Texas, United Way of Austin and Charitygift. Before joining the GSNTX, she served as Senior VP of Workplace Campaigns for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.
