Despite the threat of rain, The Stewpot Alliance was on top of the world… or, at least on top of The Henry rooftop … Thursday with longtime supporters Margie and Ray Francis and Sarah and First Presbyterian Church of Dallas Senior Pastor Rev. Amos Disasa.
The gathering was a two-fold occasion.
First, 2024 Soup’s On! Co-Chairs Leah Jordan and Eric Swindle and Michelle and Rudy Segura, Chief Chef Brian Luscher and Alliance President Cory Brown handed over a record-breaking check for $598,000 to The Stewpot Executive Director Brenda Snitzer.
The funds were the result of the art auction and the luncheon in February at Thompson Dallas with Father Greg Boyle.
Hearing the news of the record-breaking amount were 2025 Co-Chairs Buddy Jordan and Isabell Novakov-Higginbotham and Trey Higginbotham, who said they’ve already locked down the 2025 Soup’s On! Luncheon to return to Thompson Dallas on Monday, January 27.
