While some folks are just now putting plans together for the current holiday season, other farsighted non-profits are in the final stages of locking down activities for 2024. On the other hand, the Crystal Charity Ball ladies have gazed into their “crystal ball” and have announced that Mary Martha Pickens will chair the 2025 ball.

The multi-talented Mary Martha has quite a record both professionally and philanthropically. In addition to currently serving as Senior VP and Private Client Manager in the Dallas office for Bank of America Private Bank, she is on the M.D. Anderson advisory board and has chaired numerous fundraisers (i.e., Cattle Barons Ball, Community Partners of Dallas’ Chick Lit Luncheon, North Texas Food Bank’s Harvest Bowl, etc.).
Since joining CCB in 2014, MM has chaired numerous leadership roles including Underwriting, Foundations, Silent Auction, Ball Contribution Tickets and Ball Invitations.
In making the announcement, 2024 CCB Chair Cheryl Joyner said, “Mary Martha has a wide range of experience in the Dallas community. Her proven skills, intellect, generous and kind spirit and commitment to this organization will ensure the continued success of Crystal Charity Ball. It will be a privilege to work with her.”
Over the past 71 years, CCB has provided more than $185M to Dallas County children’s non-profits thanks to its committee made up of 100 volunteers.
The 2023 committee is currently in the final stages for the upcoming ball at the Hilton Anatole on Saturday, December 9.
In the meantime, congratulations to CCB, Mary Martha and the children of Dallas.
