United To Learn (U2L) Founder/CEO Abigail Williams has announced the new members of the organization’s board of directors and advisory council.
Joining the board is Ben Leal, while Jennifer Lind, Drexell Owusu, Oric Walker, James Walton and Maurice West have been added to U2L’s advisory board.
According to Abigail, “United to Learn is so please to welcome these talented individuals to our board and advisory council. Their combined diversity of perspective from decades of community engagement and broad corporate representation will surely ignite new, innovative ideas to fuel support of the city’s future leaders among our young learners.”
Established in 2012, U2L’s mission is to “change lives by transforming the relationship between schools and community.” It is presently “accelerating student achievement across 49 Dallas ISD elementary schools.”
